Grifal was the first Italian company to be certified by Amazon for the design, supply and certification of packaging for e-commerce.

Our team of packaging designers attended a two-day training session held in Seattle, Washington at Amazon’s Customer Packaging Experience Lab (CPEX). As a result, Grifal is a member of the global Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS). The APASS network consists of over 30 international companies and Grifal was the first Italian company among them.

This recognition further strengthens Grifal’s competencies with respect to the design, supply and certification of packaging for e-commerce.

The e-commerce giant is creating a list of companies worldwide that have the expertise to design and certify packaging that meets its stringent requirements for the delivery of products purchased online. Most important among these are the Frustration Free Packaging (FFP) and Ships in Own Container (SIOC) standards for improved customer experience and more ecological, less wasteful packaging.

Our testing laboratory is accredited to perform 20 different ISTA protocols, the most of any testing lab in Italy. We have recently acquired new equipment for our lab including a climactic chamber, an inclined impact tester and a new compression tester.
