{"id":42110,"date":"2022-05-06T08:55:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-06T08:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.grifal.it\/enelxway-green-packaging\/"},"modified":"2025-01-27T09:25:24","modified_gmt":"2025-01-27T09:25:24","slug":"enelxway-green-packaging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.grifal.it\/en\/enelxway-green-packaging\/","title":{"rendered":"Grifal Group Becomes Enel X Way Partner"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Grifal Group<\/strong> will provide packaging for home and public charging stations built by <strong>Enel X Way<\/strong>, the <strong>Enel Group<\/strong> &#8216;s new <em>global business line<\/em> dedicated to electric mobility.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>JuiceBoxes<\/strong>, devices for home use, for charging electric vehicles directly from the home, and <strong>JuicePoles, <\/strong>charging stations for public use, will be protected by the innovative <strong><sup>cArt\u00f9\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><em>,<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grifal.it\/materiali\/cartu\/\">the special shock-absorbing corrugated cardboard<\/a> that creates more than 50 percent more ripple than traditional cardboard.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the presentation of the partnership, <strong>Enel X Way<\/strong> was a guest at the Grifal Group booth at the <strong>IPACK-IMA<\/strong>: <em>Processing &amp; Packaging<\/em> exhibition, May 3-6, at Fiera Milano Rho, Italy&#8217;s most important event and among the first in Europe in the packaging sector.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement is in perfect harmony with the  <em>mission  <\/em>green and futuristic by Grifal Group, fitting into a constantly evolving scenario where the  <em>player<\/em>  market are at the forefront of developing and disseminating a zero environmental impact culture that is increasingly consistent with the needs of the end consumer.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the International Energy Agency, in fact, in the European Union in recent years there has been a  <em>boom<\/em> in electric vehicle sales &#8211;  <strong>one in 5 new car registrations is electric <\/strong>&#8211; resulting in increased demand for charging stations; while, according to research published by  <em>Market Watch<\/em>, the sector of the  <strong>green packaging<\/strong> will increase globally by as much as $154 billion by 2028 (+60%) reaching sales of more than $413 billion<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"362\" src=\"https:\/\/www.grifal.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/confezione_enelx_juicebox.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32901\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.grifal.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/confezione_enelx_juicebox.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.grifal.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/confezione_enelx_juicebox-300x109.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The message from Fabio Gritti, CEO of Grifal Group<\/h2>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Becoming part of the ecosystem of partners who share the same environmental values as Enel X Way, in addition to consolidating our position in the green packaging sector, represents an important milestone in the Group&#8217;s development plan in terms of both studying increasingly efficient and sustainable production lines and expanding our business capabilities.&#8221;-  <\/em>said the <strong>president and CEO of Grifal Group<\/strong>.<em>  &#8211; &#8220;With our highly innovative products and technologies, the result of 20 years of research in this field, we aim to replace plastics in packaging. In fact, adopting environmentally friendly packaging not only improves the level of sustainability of our customers&#8217; products, but also indirectly raises awareness among consumers who buy them.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How <sup>cArt\u00f9\u00ae<\/sup> green packaging was born.<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grifal Group&#8217;s green packaging solutions, based on cArt\u00f9\u00ae, use FSC\u00ae- and PEFC&#x2122;-certified papers and result in a <strong>large<\/strong> <strong>reduction in CO2 emissions<\/strong>: up to 80 percent on average compared to packaging plastics. This is without any sacrifice in packaging quality as corrugated cardboard, thanks to extraordinarily high waves of 10 to 20 mm, achieves greater performance in terms of <strong>flexibility<\/strong>, <strong>cushioning capacity<\/strong> and <strong>light weight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, laboratory analysis of the product&#8217;s life cycle, conducted with AzzeroCO2, shows that the use of 100,000 kg of cArt\u00f9\u00ae, rather than the same amount of expanded plastics, avoids the release of 418,000 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere, equivalent to what 59,714 trees would absorb in one year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The environmentally sustainable packaging of Enel X Way&#8217;s JuiceBox and JuicePole home and public-use charging devices will be made of Grifal&#8217;s cArt\u00f9\u00ae.
