The new material for environmentally sustainable packaging aims to revolutionize the market: it replaces plastic, is made of pure cellulose wadding, is cushioning, wrapping, ultra-soft, absorbent, and suitable for protecting fragile and delicate products but not only.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

After cArt\u00f9\u00ae, a new and innovative material comes to the packaging market: it is tissuePack<\/a><\/u><\/strong>, a corrugated made of pure cellulose wadding, which is cushioning, wrapping and extremely soft. It protects fragile and delicate products, replaces plastics and many other materials used for industrial, protective, transport and product delivery packaging. <\/p>\n\n

tissuePack is a breakthrough that can revolutionize the packaging<\/strong> industry: in addition to softness and elasticity, it is 100 percent recyclable as paper, it is lightweight, has high mechanical strength that allows protection from shocks, vibrations and drops, absorbs moisture and liquids, and fills the void in boxes and containers.<\/p>\n\n

“We continue on the path of designing and developing highly innovative corrugated materials<\/em>,” says Fabio Gritti, CEO<\/strong> of Grifal <\/strong>. With tissuePack we propose to the market something never seen before, a corrugated material with unique technical and aesthetic characteristics. Its softness, strength and cushioning capabilities, combined with its absolute eco-sustainability, will soon make it indispensable for anyone who needs to protect and enhance their products. Production of tissuePack will be started in all the Group’s plants in Italy, Romania and Portugal, taking advantage of the facilities, suitably adapted and integrated, already used for cArt\u00f9. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

To support the commercial development of the new product, a line of dedicated machinery was also developed, including a table-top mini-cutter designed for end users. This innovative packaging system was designed in collaboration with ITIR (Institute for Transformative Innovation Research) the new multidisciplinary research center at the University of Pavia, which provided highly qualified organizational and technological support.” <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n
