After cArtù®, a new and innovative material comes to the packaging market: it is tissuePack, a corrugated made of pure cellulose wadding, which is cushioning, wrapping and extremely soft. It protects fragile and delicate products, replaces plastics and many other materials used for industrial, protective, transport and product delivery packaging.
tissuePack is a breakthrough that can revolutionize the packaging industry: in addition to softness and elasticity, it is 100 percent recyclable as paper, it is lightweight, has high mechanical strength that allows protection from shocks, vibrations and drops, absorbs moisture and liquids, and fills the void in boxes and containers.

To support the commercial development of the new product, a line of dedicated machinery was also developed, including a table-top mini-cutter designed for end users. This innovative packaging system was designed in collaboration with ITIR (Institute for Transformative Innovation Research) the new multidisciplinary research center at the University of Pavia, which provided highly qualified organizational and technological support.”
tissuePack is offered to a very wide market: packaging, logistics, e-commerce and manufacturing companies. The absorbent capacity makes it attractive for various uses, such as pharmaceutical and food. In sheets of different sizes ready to use but also in reels, for companies able to process and customize it using dedicated machines produced by Grifal Technologies.
