Renewable and recyclable sources
- 100% of the paper used is FSC® or PEFC™ certified
- cArtù® is 100% recyclable and disposable in the paper recycling collection

Less raw material
- Up to -70% less raw material compared to traditional corrugated cardboard
- Up to -80% less CO2 emissions compared to the production of plastic or traditional corrugated packaging materials
Ultra-low fuel consumption and emissions
- Production of cArtù® requires no steam, so there is zero water consumption
- Production of cArtù® requires no drying equipment, so electricity consumption is extremely low

The new solar power system
With the expansion of its production site in Cologno al Serio by more than 6,000 square meters, Grifal has reached a crucial milestone: the switching on of the new 148 Kwh solar panel system.
The use of renewable solar energy will allow a significant decrease in overall consumption of electricity and consequently in CO2 emissions.
Other energy reducing efforts include the installation of high-efficiency LED lighting and the adoption of a digital consumption monitoring system to keep track of potential energy waste.
