Grifal S.p.A., a technology company and innovative SME listed on the AIM segment of the Italian Stock Exchange, active since 1969 in the industrial packaging market and part of the Grifal Group, has reached an important agreement to renew the supply of cArtù® with a multinational home appliance manufacturing company.
cArtù® is a new corrugated cardboard: the innovative design adds two folds with a reinforcing rib function to each wave. Shape and structure of the new wave allow the corrugated cardboard to achieve higher performance in terms of load-bearing capacity, cushioning capacity, flexibility and light weight. The white market is an important outlet market for cArtù®: Styrofoam and plastic film packaging of household appliances are replaced effectively and environmentally friendly.
Based on cArtù® ‘s 2020 deliveries of 1,500,000 euros, the agreement anticipates an increase for 2021 of nearly 2,000,000 euros, with a projected growth to 400,000 euros per month.
