The Theater to the Graces and theLiberty Square Auditorium a Bergamo Are ready to kick off, November 22 to 25, 2023, a “CONVIVIOUS, food in culture.”, a review that focuses on the culture of food through the stories that have told its story and the challenges that the immediate future will present, through the voices of writers and intellectuals who have addressed this issue.
For the occasion, which is part of the Bergamo-Brescia Capital of Culture program, our cArtù® will decorate with its green waves the stage of the Teatro delle Grazie, where workshops, panel discussions and debates will take place. Protagonists of the setting will be partitions, backdrops, ottomans, desks, coffee tables and other decorative design elements made entirely from Grifal’s signature eco-sustainable “wave of the future.”

With the scientific collaboration of the Bergamo Narrative Prize, the City of Bergamo proposes “CONVIVIO, food in culture” as part of Bergamo’s participation in the UNESCO Creative Cities for Gastronomy network.
The theme of this first edition is “the changing food”: five events designed to address issues related to food and wine production in the context of climate change. CONVIVIO, in fact, offers opportunities for discussion and insights into the role of food in our society, from food as an element of dialogue and sharing to food as a terrain in which individual hardships and suffering are manifested; from food that transforms in the face of a climate that requires us to rethink our habits to food as a symbol that spans history and cultures.
The events, all with free admission, will be held in Bergamo, alternating between dialogues, screenings, workshops, panel discussions and tasting sessions.
