Developing a European network of sites dedicated to the production and processing of cArtù and the sale of custom packaging solutions is one of several projects we are working on for the near future.
The goal in the medium term is to expand, also in partnership with entities already present in those territories, the Network of production sites in major European countries, as well as the site of Guimaraes in Portugal together with Grupo José Neves active since this year and at the site in Timisoara, in Romania, launched in 2021.
In a market situation of shrinking GDP, industrial production and manufacturing activity, which is inextricably linked to the packaging sector, the growth of cArtù, whose sales have reached 33 percent of Group revenues, continues, as does that of the foreign sales whose share reached 27 percent of the total – despite the fact that Italian packaging exports were down 2.2 percent (Italian Packaging Institute data)
