KIWA is one of the top 20 global leaders in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) and has verified the conformity of Grifal’s production process according to UNI 10667-1:2017.
This recognition is particularly significant in the Circular Economy and Sustainability perspective in which Grifal is consolidating its actions. In fact, the identification, traceability and reuse of production waste are essential indicators for enhancing the value chain and limiting the impact on the natural environment as much as possible.
In plastics specifically, waste foam materials are recovered as processing by-products instead of becoming a waste. Compliance verification of plastics by-products at Grifal occurs annually and is in addition to the company’s other initiatives to support Sustainability, including, for example, FSC and PEFC Certifications of paper-based raw materials.
