Mara Paper Lab and the waves of cArtù ®, at Fuori Salone 2024 from April 15-21, will tell the story through the Paper Revolution for Retail space (at DecorLab in via Tortona 37 in Milan) a new dimension of eco-sustainable retail.
Paper, traditional cardboard and cArtù®, the new shock-absorbing and environmentally sustainable corrugated cardboard, in different colors and finishes, will create green furnishings for a demonstration retail space, open to the public.
DecorLab thus opens its doors to let people touch Mara Paper Lab’s products and encourage the use of sustainable materials in the field of design as well, targeting especially architects and companies operating in the contract & retail furniture sector.
The theme of the exhibition, “Design, Decoration, Sustainability,” describes the intent to transform environmentally sustainable packaging materials into easy-to-assemble, lightweight furniture items without sacrificing attractive design. The goal is to stimulate visual merchandisers as well, so that they become drivers of change in the retail world by turning to thoughtful and innovative suppliers who offer materials that are easier to handle and, above all, environmentally friendly.
The storefront and store become an edutainment and infotainment tool to raise awareness of respect for the planet, as well as to tell the story of the brands’ commitment and campaigns on environmental and social issues.
