UNESCO’s Ocean&Climate Village: cArtù® furnishes Naples leg of exhibition dedicated to oceans and climate

After the editions of Milan at the Triennale e Venice to the Arsenal, the Ocean&Climate Village, UNESCO’s first interactive and educational exhibition dedicated to the relationship between ocean and climate, continues to travel around Italy and makes a stop in Naples, from today through March 12, at a prime location: the Sala Italia in Castel dell’Ovo.

The panels and furnishings in the exhibition are provided by Grifal and made of cArtù®, the innovative shock-absorbing and environmentally sustainable corrugated cardboard that replaces plastic in packaging.

As part of the “Decade of Marine Sciences for Sustainable Development 2021-2030” initiative, the exhibition is produced by IOC-Unesco, UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission, with the aim of raising awareness of theimportance of knowing and acting with a view to preserving the marine ecosystem and the environment in general.

Grifal is an official supporter of the Ocean&Climate Village exhibition, together with the support of E.ON Italia and in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism of the City of Naples.

Ocean&Climate Village is a multi-sensory and educational experience dedicated to the relationship between oceans and climate.

Visitors can “dive in” on an exciting journey and learn more about the importance of the oceans to our planet and our future.

The exhibition is structured into eight thematic zones, enhanced by infographics, interactive panels, video installations, and workshops illustrated by the young artists from the “Design for the Ocean” collective.
