Visit Bergamo is an important local organization that promotes tourism development in Bergamo and Province. Among the ambitious projects it has helped bring to life in recent years is the following East Lombardy, created when the territories of Bergamo, Brescia, Cremona and Mantua were awarded the title “European Region of Gastronomy” in 2017. East Lombardy is a network of restaurateurs and producers who champion the culture of healthy, sustainable food that respects local biodiversity.
In 2021, the Taste & Buy at theMilan-Bergamo airport, a food and wine infopoint with a green philosophy that aims to offer travelers first-rate products while providing a showcase for small producers in the network and their excellence. The formula is to taste and then buy: hence the name of the store.
Recently, as they were in the process of launching a new eCommerce for food&beverage products, they chose to turn to Grifal to get an innovative, effective, flexible, but most importantly, eco-friendly answer to their packaging needs for online sales.

Fresh products, already vacuum-packed in the Taste & Buy precisely for the purpose of preserving their freshness as much as possible, are placed inside the Grifal boxes, which, thanks to the thermal-reflective layer, allow for maximum insulation. To preserve food during transport and not break the cold chain, dry ice is finally added.
