The Test Laboratory, through ISTA certification, tests the protective performance of a package according to internationally recognized procedures.
It is an independent structure that works to support any company, manufacturer, retailer, logistics or e-Commerce.
The Test Laboratory provides B2B packaging analysis, testing and certification services, on behalf of third parties or in possible synergy with Grifal projects.
ISTA procedures reproduce the risks during transport and storage of products by simulating:
- bumps and falls
- vibrations
- compressions
- climatic stresses, temperature and/or humidity
It is also possible:
- Conduct virtual simulations of the tests
- measure BCT and ECT
- obtain certifications for Amazon
- Obtain certifications for the transportation of dangerous goods, e.g., ADR, RID, IMDG
